Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to The 6th Portal! By playing our game, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Please read these terms carefully before participating.

2. Free-to-Play and Premium Model

  • Free Daily Turns: All players receive a set number of free turns each day. These turns reset at every day.
  • Completion of First Chapter: After completing the first chapter, players will need to subscribe to continue playing. Players can still receive limited free turns through referrals (see section 3).
  • Subscription Plans: Subscription plans provide additional turns per day, time shard recharges, and other benefits. Details on these plans are available within the game and on our website.
  • Microtransactions: In addition to subscriptions, players can purchase time shard recharges and hints to enhance their gameplay.

3. Referral System

  • Free Day of Play: Players can earn a free day of play by referring new players to the game. A referred player must complete their first transaction (either a microtransaction or a subscription) for the referrer to receive the reward.
  • Referral Code: The referral code must be used during the new player's registration to be eligible for the reward.
  • Restrictions: Each player can only benefit from a maximum of one free day of play per referred player. The referrer will receive the free day of play within 24 hours of the referred player's first transaction.

4. SMS/MMS Messaging

  • Opt-In: By opting into our SMS/MMS service, you agree to receive text messages from The 6th Portal on your mobile number. These messages may include gameplay notifications, promotional offers, surveys, and updates.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency will vary depending on your gameplay and interactions within the game.
  • Unsubscribe: You can cancel the messaging service at any time by texting "STOP" to the number you received messages from. We will send you a confirmation SMS, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially.
  • Help: For assistance, text "HELP" or visit our website to contact support directly.
  • Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Data Charges: Message and data rates may apply. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Subscription fees and microtransaction costs will be billed to your selected payment method.
  • Renewal: Subscription plans will automatically renew at the end of their term unless canceled. You can manage your subscription through your account settings. Text "HELP" to find your account settings.
  • Refund Policy: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on any subscriptions, microtransactions, or other purchases made in The 6th Portal.

6. Player Conduct

  • Fair Play: Players are expected to engage in fair play. Any form of cheating, exploitation, or abuse of the game's systems will result in penalties, including suspension or termination of your account.
  • Community Guidelines: Treat other players with respect. Harassment, hate speech, or other forms of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content within The 6th Portal, including but not limited to characters, storylines, and artwork, is owned by PortalSix, LLC. Unauthorized use of this content is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • No Warranties: The 6th Portal is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free gameplay.
  • Liability: PortalSix, LLC is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of The 6th Portal, including loss of data or inability to access the game.

9. Changes to the Terms

  • Modifications: We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the document. Continued use of The 6th Portal following any changes to these terms indicates your acceptance of those changes.

15. Termination of Service

  • Termination by User: You may terminate your account and stop playing The 6th Portal at any time by unsubscribing or ceasing to interact with the game.
  • Termination by PortalSix, LLC: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the game at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where PortalSix, LLC is headquartered.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the game will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
